Jessica Mannheim
As a seasoned HR professional and manager with extensive international exposure, I am dedicated to providing senior guidance in all areas of people management and development, with specific passion for supporting sustainable careers for women.
I believe in creating positive change in the workplace through collaborative relationships, effective communication. and data-driven solutions. By leveraging extensive people management and coaching expertise, I offer tailored services to assist individuals and organisations to unlock their potential to grow.
I provide advice and guidance in all areas of HR/people management such as organisational development, HR process optimisation, employee experience and engagement, performance management, inclusive work environment and health and wellbeing strategies.
Always with people - for people.
I have experience from both private and public organisations and most recently as Head of Human Resources in the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), a public health agency of the European Union (EU) with staff members coming from all EU Member States. I was part of the start-up team when the agency was established in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2005 and led the HR function for over 19 years. During this time the agency had to respond to several public health crises of which the most recent Covid-19 pandemic, is most known to people.
One of the key take aways my experience taught me is the value of the HR function being an agile, people centric partner that can swiftly adapt to the needs of the organisation and its staff. And that no plan or strategy will be more successful than the visible everyday actions the people in the organisation can observe.
My main achievements and experiences:
Providing timely, solid, and solution oriented advice to senior management, staff and managers, including coaching, conflict resolution and mediation support.
Leading, coaching and developing a team of HR professionals through times of both growth and reduction, as well as in crisis operations.
Developing extensive support mechanisms and provided learning opportunities in the area of health and wellbeing with stress prevention programmes and preventive health measures, both for physical and psychological health.

Business owner of the HRM IT system; developing and implementing an IT system encompassing all HR processes from employee onboarding to exit.
